About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Production Manager to oversee all aspects of our company's oil and gas production operations. As the Petroleum Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe extraction of petroleum resources while also maximizing profits for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of production engineers and technicians to ensure smooth and efficient operations of oil and gas production facilities.
• Develop and implement production plans and strategies to optimize production levels and meet production targets.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments such as drilling, reservoir engineering, and facilities to ensure seamless integration of production activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to secure necessary resources and support for production operations.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to ensure continuous and safe operations.
• Conduct regular site visits to production facilities to monitor progress, identify potential problems, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and manage production budgets, forecasts, and reports to provide accurate and timely information to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to improve production processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in oil and gas production operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing production activities, meeting production targets, and controlling costs.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas production processes, equipment, and technology.
• Excellent leadership, team building, and communication skills.
• Ability to make quick and sound decisions under pressure.
• Working knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and their application in production operations.
• Willingness to travel and work in remote locations as needed.
