Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and ensuring the smooth flow of dishes and utensils throughout the day. This is an important role in our organization as you will play a crucial part in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and ensuring our customers have a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment using the appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques
• Load and unload dishwashing machines and hand wash dishes as needed
• Sort, stack, and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas
• Empty and clean trash cans and recycling bins
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with food prep and basic kitchen duties as needed
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of dishes and utensils throughout the day
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible schedule and availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
