Overview: As a Student Success Advisor at Intercontinental Tech Institute, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve academic and personal success. You will serve as a primary point of contact for students, providing guidance, support, and resources to help them navigate their academic journey. You will be responsible for building relationships with students, understanding their individual needs, and providing proactive support to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for students, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey
• Build relationships with students to understand their individual needs and challenges
• Assist students in developing academic plans and setting goals to ensure their success
• Provide proactive support to students, identifying potential barriers to their success and offering solutions
• Conduct regular check-ins with students to monitor progress and address any concerns or challenges they may be facing
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other departments to provide a holistic approach to student success
• Develop and deliver workshops and programs to support students' academic and personal growth
• Utilize a variety of tools and resources to track student progress and identify areas for improvement
• Serve as an advocate for students, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard
• Stay up-to-date on academic policies, procedures, and resources to provide accurate and relevant information to students
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with students
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge related to student success

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic advising, student services, or a similar role
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with students from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of academic policies, procedures, and resources
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience working with students in a higher education setting is preferred
• Passion for helping students achieve their full potential
