Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and curriculum development, with a passion for creating engaging and effective learning materials. The Curriculum Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum materials for various educational programs and ensuring alignment with national and state standards. This is a pivotal role that requires a detail-oriented and innovative individual with a deep understanding of instructional design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and other stakeholders to develop and revise curriculum materials for K-12 educational programs.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure curriculum materials are aligned with national and state standards, as well as current educational trends and best practices.
• Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective curriculum materials that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
• Develop and implement evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of curriculum materials and make necessary revisions to improve student learning outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in education and instructional design to continuously improve curriculum materials.
• Provide training and support to teachers on how to effectively use and implement curriculum materials in their classrooms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and presentations to promote and showcase the quality of our curriculum materials.
• Attend educational conferences and workshops to network with other professionals and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related role.
• In-depth knowledge of national and state standards for K-12 education.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and their practical application.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Experience in project management and meeting strict deadlines.
