Position: Animation Director

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Animation Director to lead and manage our animation team. As an Animation Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire animation process, from conception to completion, across multiple projects. You will work closely with the creative team to bring their vision to life through animation and ensure that all animations meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of animators, providing creative direction and feedback to ensure all animations are of the highest quality.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and refine animation concepts and storyboards.
• Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all animations are delivered on time and within budget.
• Work closely with the production team to allocate resources and manage the budget for each project.
• Conduct regular team meetings to ensure that all team members are aligned and working towards the same goals.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, and implement them in the animation process to continuously improve the quality of our work.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
• Ensure that all animations meet the technical specifications and requirements set by the client or project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in animation, film, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in animation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills and experience.
• Expertise in various animation techniques, including 2D, 3D, and stop-motion.
• Proficient in industry-standard animation software, such as Adobe After Effects, Maya, and Cinema 4D.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and feedback to team members.
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of storytelling and visual storytelling techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Passion for animation and a desire to push the boundaries of creativity.
