Position: Ground Passenger Transportation Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ground Passenger Transportation Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our ground transportation services, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers to their destinations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the transportation industry, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our ground transportation services.
• Oversee the hiring, training, and performance of ground transportation staff, including drivers, dispatchers, and support staff.
• Create and maintain schedules for all ground transportation services, ensuring adequate coverage and timely arrivals and departures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards for ground transportation operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of vehicles and equipment.
• Implement and monitor policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure the safety of passengers and employees.
• Resolve any issues or complaints related to ground transportation services in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare and manage budgets for ground transportation operations, including monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for ground transportation staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, transportation management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the transportation industry.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to ground transportation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
