Job Overview: We are seeking a highly creative and passionate Arts and Crafts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various art mediums and techniques, as well as experience in teaching art classes to individuals of all ages and skill levels. The Arts and Crafts Instructor will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading classes and workshops, as well as providing individualized instruction and guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans and curriculum for a variety of arts and crafts classes, workshops, and camps.
• Teach students of all ages and skill levels in various art mediums and techniques, including but not limited to painting, drawing, pottery, and jewelry making.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, self-expression, and personal growth.
• Demonstrate and guide students in proper techniques, processes, and safety procedures.
• Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students to help them develop their artistic skills and reach their full potential.
• Monitor and assess student progress and make necessary adjustments to lesson plans and teaching methods.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring all art supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop new classes and workshops, as well as participate in community events and exhibitions.
• Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians, providing updates on class schedules, projects, and any other important information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching art classes to individuals of all ages and skill levels.
• Strong knowledge and skills in various art mediums and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring creativity in others.
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
