Job Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and materials for our organization. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to develop engaging and effective learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our organization's goals, values, and target audience to create relevant and impactful curriculum.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and content for various educational programs.
• Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to design and develop effective curriculum.
• Select appropriate instructional methods, materials, and assessments to support learning objectives.
• Create engaging and interactive learning experiences through the use of multimedia, simulations, and other technology-based tools.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevancy of content.
• Write clear and concise learning objectives, lesson plans, and learning activities.
• Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure timely delivery of curriculum.
• Work closely with the instructional design team to review and incorporate feedback into curriculum materials.
• Conduct regular evaluations of curriculum and make necessary adjustments to improve effectiveness.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in curriculum development to continuously enhance our educational programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
• Experience in developing curriculum for various delivery methods, including in-person, online, and blended learning.
• Proficient in using instructional design software and other technology-based tools.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality materials.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members.
