Game Master Legends is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead Game Developer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Game Developer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development of our latest and most exciting game projects. With your expertise and leadership, you will play a crucial role in shaping the direction and success of our games.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of game developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality games
• Collaborate with the game design team to develop and implement innovative game mechanics, features, and systems
• Oversee the development process from concept to release, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve our development processes
• Work closely with other departments, such as art, audio, and quality assurance, to ensure a cohesive and polished final product
• Act as a primary point of contact for external partners, such as publishers and platform holders, to facilitate smooth communication and project delivery
• Mentor and train junior developers, helping them to grow and develop their skills
• Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing and evaluating potential candidates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in game development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role
• Strong understanding of game development processes and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
• Extensive experience with game engines and development tools, such as Unity or Unreal Engine
• Proficient in programming languages such as C++, C#, and/or Java
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments
• Passionate about gaming and knowledgeable about current and upcoming industry trends and technologies
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with multiplayer and/or mobile game development is a plus.
