We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Animation Director to join our team and lead our animation department to new heights.

Job Overview: As the Animation Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire animation process for our projects. You will collaborate with the creative team and provide creative direction to our talented animators to bring our stories to life through captivating and visually stunning animation. You will also be responsible for managing the animation team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and refine the visual style and animation techniques for each project
• Provide creative direction to the animation team and ensure that their work aligns with the project's vision and meets the desired quality standards
• Lead and manage the animation team, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to help them grow and develop their skills
• Set project timelines and milestones, and ensure that the team meets deadlines and stays within budget
• Work closely with the production team to identify and resolve any potential issues that may impact the animation process
• Stay updated with industry advancements and trends in animation techniques and technology, and implement them in our projects to maintain a competitive edge
• Collaborate with other departments, such as story, character design, and layout, to ensure a cohesive and seamless animation process
• Review and approve all animation assets, including storyboards, animatics, layouts, and final animations, to ensure they meet the creative and technical requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Film, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in animation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of animation principles, techniques, and software such as Maya, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of animators
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback to team members
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for animation and storytelling, and a drive to push the boundaries of what is possible in animation
