Job Title: Refinery Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refinery Manager to oversee the operations of our refinery facility. As a Refinery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, production, and maintenance of the refinery, ensuring that all processes are running efficiently and safely. You will also be responsible for managing a team of refinery operators and technicians, as well as working closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the refinery, including production, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize refinery processes and increase productivity.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify potential issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
• Manage and mentor a team of refinery operators and technicians, providing training and support to ensure high-quality work.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the refinery.
• Create and manage budgets, track expenses, and identify areas for cost savings.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for process improvements and upgrades.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Respond to any emergencies or issues that may arise, and implement appropriate solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in refinery operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of refinery processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Proven track record of successfully managing refinery operations, production, and maintenance.
• Experience with budget management and cost control.
• Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
