Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including but not limited to, contract disputes, personal injury, employment law, and commercial disputes
Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments
Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other court documents
Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations on behalf of clients
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and judges to provide updates and negotiate settlements
Conduct thorough discovery, including document review, witness interviews, and expert consultations
Prepare for and participate in trials, including witness examinations, opening and closing statements, and jury selection
Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on potential legal risks and consequences of actions
Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations related to litigation and advise clients accordingly
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm to share knowledge and resources
Manage a caseload and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications:

JD degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in CA
3+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney, preferably in a law firm setting
Strong understanding of civil litigation processes and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research and draft legal documents
Proven track record of successful outcomes in litigation cases
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
