Supply Chain Logistics Manager

Position: Supply Chain Logistics Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from sourcing materials to delivering the final product to the customer. You will also be responsible for managing a team of logistics professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality materials at the most competitive prices
• Oversee the transportation of materials and products, both domestically and internationally, to ensure timely delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and develop inventory management strategies to minimize excess stock and reduce lead times
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and customers
• Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of supply chain operations
• Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain process and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of the supply chain and make data-driven decisions to improve processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify potential opportunities for growth and improvement within the supply chain
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to supply chain operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including sourcing, procurement, transportation, and inventory management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Prior experience in project management and process improvement is preferred
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to supply chain operations is a plus
