Job Title: Postal Delivery Driver

Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Postal Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Postal Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to various locations within a designated route. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of all mail and packages to their intended recipients. This is a physically demanding job that requires excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver mail and packages to various locations within a designated route
• Sort and organize mail and packages for delivery
• Load and unload mail and packages from the vehicle
• Verify the accuracy of addresses and packages before delivery
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of mail and packages
• Collect and deposit outgoing mail and packages at the designated post office
• Obtain signatures and/or delivery confirmations from recipients
• Report any delivery issues or delays to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Prior experience as a delivery driver preferred
• Familiarity with local areas and routes
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, if required
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
