Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Paper Mill Production Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that quality standards are met. You will manage a team of production workers and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role in the paper manufacturing industry and a strong understanding of production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire production process, from raw materials to finished products
• Ensure that production targets are met within budget and on schedule
• Monitor and maintain quality standards by conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Train and supervise production workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to ensure optimal production flow
• Develop and implement production schedules and adjust as needed to meet changing demands
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and materials management to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and industry trends, and make recommendations for process improvements and equipment upgrades

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the paper manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of production processes and equipment, including paper machines, pulp mills, and finishing processes
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven track record of meeting production targets and improving efficiency
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Proficiency in computer systems and software, including production management software
• Willingness to work flexible hours and on weekends, if required

Working Conditions: As a Paper Mill Production Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will spend most of your time in the production area, overseeing operations and interacting with production workers. The job may also involve some physical tasks, such as standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and lifting materials. You may also be required to work in different shifts and on weekends, depending on production demands.
