Position: Production Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to join our team. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met, and managing a team of production staff. This is a critical role in our organization as you will play a key part in meeting production goals and driving the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and material procurement, to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new processes and procedures to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage and train production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing company policies and procedures and conducting regular safety audits.
• Develop and maintain production reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and report to upper management.
• Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment needed for production.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure that production is not interrupted due to material shortages.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and shipping, to ensure products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in process improvement and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
• Extensive knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and production management software.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
