Position: Instructional Design Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instructional Design Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences for our employees, clients, and partners. As an Instructional Design Specialist, you will use your expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and technology to support our organization's learning and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and objectives for various internal and external audiences
• Design and develop innovative and interactive learning solutions that align with learning objectives and target audience needs
• Utilize various instructional design models and methodologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences, including e-learning, virtual instructor-led training, microlearning, and blended learning solutions
• Select and implement appropriate instructional strategies, activities, and assessments to enhance learning and retention
• Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, simulations, and gamification, into learning solutions to increase learner engagement
• Leverage instructional technology tools, such as learning management systems and authoring software, to create and deliver learning content
• Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and functionality of learning solutions
• Continuously evaluate and improve learning solutions based on feedback and data analysis
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instructional design, e-learning, and technology-enhanced learning
• Collaborate with other members of the learning and development team to ensure consistency and alignment of learning solutions
• Provide guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders on instructional design principles and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate or professional services setting
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning technologies
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia
• Proficient in learning management systems and virtual training platforms
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Creative mindset and a passion for designing innovative learning solutions
• Knowledge of graphic design and video editing is a plus
