Position: Curriculum Development Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive and engaging educational materials for our organization. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to design and develop curriculum that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum design, instructional methodologies, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and content for various courses
• Conduct research and analyze industry trends to ensure curriculum is relevant and up-to-date
• Design and develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, handouts, assessments, and activities
• Utilize various instructional methods, such as e-learning, simulations, and experiential learning, to enhance learning outcomes
• Review and revise existing curriculum to improve effectiveness and efficiency
• Work with instructional designers to ensure course materials are visually appealing and user-friendly
• Create and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of curriculum materials
• Conduct pilot testing and gather feedback from participants to make necessary revisions
• Collaborate with other team members to integrate technology into curriculum design
• Stay up-to-date with emerging educational technologies and incorporate them into curriculum design when appropriate
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all curriculum materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design
• Proven experience in designing and developing engaging and effective instructional materials
• In-depth knowledge of instructional methodologies and adult learning principles
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in using instructional design software and learning management systems
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
