Position: Language Localization Coordinator

About the Role: As a Language Localization Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company's content and products are accurately translated and localized for different regions and languages. You will play a crucial role in expanding our global reach and ensuring that our customers from different parts of the world have an exceptional experience with our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify content and products that need to be localized for different regions and languages
• Develop and maintain a localization strategy to ensure consistency and quality in all translated materials
• Liaise with translation agencies and freelance translators to ensure timely and accurate translations
• Review and proofread translated materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that all localized content and products meet the highest standards
• Manage and maintain translation memory databases to increase efficiency and consistency in future translations
• Keep track of project timelines and ensure that all localized content and products are delivered on time
• Communicate regularly with international teams to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to localized materials
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in localization and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all localized content is aligned with the company's global marketing strategy
• Train and mentor junior team members to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in localization, translation, or language-related roles
• Fluency in English and at least one other language (both written and verbal)
• Proven experience in managing localization projects from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of localization tools and software (e.g. translation memory, CAT tools)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in all translations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Familiarity with international cultures and business practices is a plus
