Position: Music Event Coordinator

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and creative Music Event Coordinator to join our team. As a Music Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing music events for our company. This role requires a passion for music, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. If you are a detail-oriented and energetic individual with experience in event planning and a love for music, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute music events, including concerts, festivals, and showcases, from start to finish
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event concepts and themes
• Identify and book suitable venues for events, negotiate contracts, and manage all logistical aspects
• Source and coordinate with vendors, such as sound and lighting companies, catering services, and security personnel
• Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure events stay within budget
• Coordinate with artists, agents, and managers to secure performances and handle all related logistics
• Oversee ticket sales and ensure event promotion is effective
• Attend events to ensure smooth execution and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Maintain relationships with sponsors, partners, and other external stakeholders
• Work closely with the production team to create an engaging and memorable experience for attendees
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into event planning and execution
• Manage and supervise event staff, such as volunteers and coordinators, and ensure they are trained and prepared for their roles
• Provide post-event analysis and report on event success and areas for improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning, preferably in the music industry
• Proven track record of successfully planning and executing music events
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Strong negotiation and budget management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in event planning software and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of the music industry, current trends, and popular artists
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as events require
• A passion for music and a creative mindset
• Ability to handle pressure and troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
