Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop data architecture strategies that align with our company's business objectives and technology roadmap
Analyze and understand our data needs, including data sources, storage, and processing requirements
Create and maintain data models, database schemas, and data dictionaries for our various systems and applications
Implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues and optimize data workflows
Evaluate and recommend new data management tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Monitor and maintain the health and performance of our data systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Develop and maintain data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and data management
Train and mentor junior data architects and data engineers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture or a similar role
Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
Experience with SQL and other database query languages
Proficiency in data management and integration tools, such as ETL, data migration, and data mapping
Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with data governance and compliance regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, is a plus
