Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Analyst and Collections Officer to join our team. As a Credit Analyst and Collections Officer, you will be responsible for managing the credit and collections process for our company. You will be an integral part of our finance team and will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers.
• Evaluate credit applications and make recommendations for credit approval or denial.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payment and adherence to credit terms.
• Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve any credit or collection issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to promote on-time payments and resolve any disputes or issues.
• Conduct regular credit reviews of existing customers to assess their creditworthiness and adjust credit limits accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files for all customers.
• Prepare and present reports on credit and collections performance to management.
• Collaborate with legal department to manage any delinquent accounts and initiate legal action if necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to credit and collections.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis and collections.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis techniques.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to credit and collections.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding credit and collections targets.
