Job Title: Range Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Range Technician to join our team. The Range Technician will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and improving the quality of our range facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of range management practices and safety protocols, as well as experience in maintaining and repairing equipment. The Range Technician will work closely with our team to ensure our range facilities are safe, functional, and meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of range facilities to ensure safety and functionality
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on range equipment, such as targets, shooting lanes, and safety barriers
• Monitor and report any safety hazards or concerns to management
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies for range maintenance
• Assist in the development and implementation of range management plans
• Conduct safety briefings for clients and ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Maintain accurate records of range maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with other team members to improve and enhance range facilities
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to range management and safety
• Train and mentor new range technicians as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, technical or vocational training in range management or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with range facilities and equipment
• Strong knowledge of range safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to operate and maintain range equipment, including firearms and targets
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor conditions
