Key Responsibilities:

Sort and pre-treat all soiled linens before washing
Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper weight and detergent usage
Operate washing and drying machines according to established procedures and safety guidelines
Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damages and report any issues to the Housekeeping Manager
Fold and stack linens neatly for efficient storage and distribution
Maintain inventory of supplies and inform the Housekeeping Manager when stock is low
Follow proper handling and disposal procedures for soiled linens and chemicals
Keep laundry area clean and organized at all times
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laundry equipment
Report any malfunctioning equipment to the Housekeeping Manager
Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols and guidelines
Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
Basic understanding of laundry equipment and its maintenance
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
