Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy Digital Services Librarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital services and the ability to provide excellent customer service to our patrons. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our library's digital collection, providing technical support to patrons, and developing and implementing digital initiatives to enhance the library's services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the library's digital collection, including eBooks, audiobooks, and other digital resources.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure seamless access to digital content and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the library field to provide innovative digital services.
• Provide technical support and training to patrons on how to use digital resources and devices.
• Collaborate with other librarians to develop and implement digital initiatives, such as virtual programs and online book clubs.
• Create and maintain online tutorials and guides to assist patrons in using digital resources.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote the library's digital services and increase usage.
• Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of library equipment, such as computers, printers, and scanners.
• Keep accurate records and statistics related to digital services usage and provide reports to library management.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in digital services.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a library setting, preferably with a focus on digital services.
• Knowledge of library technology and digital content management systems.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with patrons of all ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
