Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and gather information on current events and breaking news stories.

Collaborate with editors, producers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and quality of news content.

Attend press conferences, events, and other relevant news events to gather information and conduct interviews.
Stay up-to-date on current events, trends, and developments in various industries.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards in reporting and abide by media laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in news reporting, preferably in a fast-paced media environment.
Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent verbal communication and on-camera presentation skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations.
Proven ability to generate new and compelling story ideas.
Knowledge of AP Style and experience with various digital platforms and social media.
Flexibility to work unconventional hours, including weekends and holidays.
Passion for journalism and a strong understanding of media ethics and principles.
