GlobalTrade & Transportation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Warehousing Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Warehousing Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our company's data warehouse systems. You will work closely with our data engineers and analysts to ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and security of our data.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data warehouse solutions that meet the business requirements and support the company's data-driven decision making.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data models and ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide recommendations for data warehouse design and architecture.
• Monitor data warehouse performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and security of the data.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and recommend new technologies and tools to improve our data warehouse systems.
• Train and mentor junior team members on data warehousing concepts, tools, and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing, with a proven track record of designing and implementing successful data warehouse systems.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Experience with data warehouse tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
• Knowledge of data governance and data security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
