Position: Science Teacher

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Science Teacher.As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a love for science in students. You will develop and implement curriculum, assess student understanding, and provide feedback to help students achieve academic success. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and execute interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate science with other subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lessons that align with state and national standards for science education
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Utilize technology and other resources to enhance instruction and engage students
• Assess student understanding through various methods, such as quizzes, tests, projects, and presentations
• Provide regular and timely feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement
• Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and maintain open lines of communication
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities
• Stay updated on current trends and advancements in the field of science education and incorporate them into teaching practices
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field
• Teaching certification in Science (grades 6-12)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching science at the middle or high school level
• Strong knowledge of science concepts and ability to make them accessible to students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Proficiency in using technology in the classroom
• Passion for education and dedication to student success
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture
