Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by accurately estimating project costs and ensuring the profitability of each project. You will work closely with our project managers and subcontractors to provide accurate and detailed cost estimates that align with our clients' budgets and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine project scope, timeline, and budget
• Conduct site visits and collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for each project
• Utilize industry-standard estimating software to ensure accuracy and efficiency in cost estimation
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with the procurement team to obtain quotes and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors
• Review and analyze bid proposals and make recommendations to the project team
• Continuously monitor project costs and provide regular updates to the project team
• Participate in project meetings to provide cost-related insights and recommendations
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in material and labor costs to ensure accurate estimation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry
• Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
• Proven experience in estimating complex and large-scale construction projects
• Proficient in using industry-standard estimating software (e.g. ProEst, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
