About the Job: BuildMasters Group is seeking a highly motivated Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the construction industry and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the construction of new buildings, renovations, and other projects
- Load and unload materials and tools from trucks
- Operate hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and hammers
- Dig trenches, backfill holes, and level earth to prepare for construction
- Remove debris and clean up work areas
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete and other building materials
- Assist with the installation of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations on construction sites
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the construction industry preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and diagrams
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA certification is a plus
