Are you a meticulous wordsmith with a passion for perfecting written content? Do you have a keen eye for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and inconsistencies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Copyeditor to join our team. As a Copyeditor, you will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and proofreading various types of written content, ensuring that it is error-free, consistent, and meets our company's style and tone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and edit written content, including but not limited to articles, blog posts, social media posts, marketing materials, and website content
• Correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax errors
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and formatting throughout all written materials
• Fact-check information and ensure accuracy in all written content
• Make suggestions for improvements in sentence structure, clarity, and overall readability
• Work closely with writers and content creators to ensure their work meets our company's standards
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure written content is visually appealing
• Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in editing and proofreading

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Copyeditor, ideally in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling rules
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
• Proficient in using editing and proofreading tools such as Grammarly and AP Stylebook
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing is a plus
