Position: Energy Trading Analyst

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Energy Trading Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends and data to support trading decisions and strategies. You will also work closely with our trading team to develop and implement trading plans, as well as monitor and manage risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market analysis and research to identify potential trading opportunities
• Monitor and analyze market trends, news, and data to support trading decisions
• Develop and implement energy trading strategies and plans
• Collaborate with the trading team to execute trades and manage risk
• Monitor and report on the performance of trading strategies and recommend adjustments as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and market changes
• Utilize various trading platforms and tools to execute trades and track performance
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all trades and transactions
• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams, as well as external partners and clients
• Continuously evaluate and improve trading processes and strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in energy trading or a similar role
• Strong understanding of energy markets, regulations, and industry trends
• Proficient in data analysis and utilizing various trading platforms and tools
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of risk management principles and strategies
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
