Job Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

Position Summary: Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum design and instructional strategies, as well as a passion for creating engaging and effective learning materials. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to develop curriculum for various educational programs and courses. You will play a crucial role in shaping the learning experience for our students and ensuring that our curriculum meets the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with subject matter experts to understand the learning objectives and content for various educational programs and courses.
• Design and develop curriculum using instructional strategies and methods that align with learning objectives and best practices in education.
• Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including lesson plans, activities, assessments, and multimedia resources.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and multimedia specialists to incorporate visual and interactive elements into the curriculum.
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest trends and developments in education and instructional design to continuously improve and enhance our curriculum.
• Review and revise existing curriculum to ensure alignment with current standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the training team to provide guidance and support in implementing the curriculum in training programs.
• Develop and maintain documentation for the curriculum development process, including templates and guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum through feedback and assessment data and make necessary changes to improve the learning experience.
• Collaborate with other curriculum development specialists and share best practices and resources to continuously improve the quality of our curriculum.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of instructional strategies and methods, curriculum design principles, and adult learning theories.
• Proficiency in using instructional design software and tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
• Experience in developing curriculum for online and/or blended learning programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, trainers, and other team members.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all work.
• Passion for education and a commitment to creating impactful learning experiences for students.
• Experience in the education or training industry is a plus.
