Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop transportation systems, including roads, highways, bridges, and other related infrastructure
Conduct thorough research and analysis to determine the most effective and efficient transportation solutions for each project
Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure that transportation projects are completed on time and within budget
Prepare detailed engineering plans and specifications for construction projects
Oversee the construction and maintenance of transportation systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify engineering designs and drawings
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and identify any potential issues
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members
Stay up-to-date with current and emerging transportation technologies and trends, and incorporate them into project designs as appropriate
Communicate project updates, progress, and potential issues to clients, stakeholders, and team members in a clear and professional manner
Ensure all project documentation and reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
Extensive knowledge of transportation engineering principles, practices, and regulations
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering software programs
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
