Title: On-Air Personality

Position Overview: As an On-Air Personality, you will be responsible for hosting radio or television programs, engaging with audiences, and delivering entertaining and informative content. This role requires a strong on-air presence, excellent communication skills, and a passion for engaging with listeners or viewers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host radio or television programs, including music shows, talk shows, news programs, and more
• Develop and deliver compelling content that resonates with the target audience
• Conduct interviews with guests and conduct research to prepare for interviews
• Collaborate with producers, writers, and other team members to plan and execute show segments
• Ad-lib and improvise when necessary to keep the show entertaining and engaging
• Monitor the show's technical aspects, including sound levels, transitions, and timing
• Interact with listeners or viewers through phone calls, social media, and other platforms
• Attend promotional events and represent the station or network in a professional manner
• Stay up-to-date with current events, trends, and pop culture to create timely and relevant content
• Adhere to all FCC regulations and company guidelines for on-air content

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications, or a related field
• Previous experience as a radio or television host, or in a similar on-air role
• Strong on-air presence with excellent communication and public speaking skills
• Knowledge of radio and television production techniques and equipment
• Ability to work well under pressure and think quickly on your feet
• Proficient in social media and other digital platforms
• Knowledge of FCC regulations and experience adhering to them
• A passion for creating entertaining and engaging content
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
