Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with students to understand their needs and goals
Provide one-on-one academic coaching and support to students, including goal setting, time management, study skills, and test-taking strategies
Monitor and track student progress and provide timely feedback to promote academic success
Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify at-risk students and create action plans to help them succeed
Facilitate workshops and group sessions on topics such as study skills, time management, and stress management
Assist students in navigating academic policies, procedures, and resources
Connect students with campus resources and services to address their academic, personal, and career needs
Conduct regular check-ins with students to address any challenges or concerns and provide resources and support
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and progress
Stay current on best practices and trends in student success coaching and implement innovative strategies to support student success

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic coaching, counseling, or related field
Strong understanding of academic and personal challenges faced by college students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with a diverse student population and adapt coaching strategies accordingly
Knowledge of student development theories and best practices in student success coaching
Familiarity with academic support resources and services
Proficient in Microsoft Office and student information systems
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
