Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator to oversee the development and implementation of our educational programs. As the Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator, you will work closely with the instructional staff, school administration, and curriculum development team to ensure that our curriculum meets the needs of our students and aligns with educational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with instructional staff to develop and implement curriculum maps, lesson plans, and instructional resources that align with educational standards and the school's mission and goals.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum through data analysis and student assessments, and make necessary adjustments to improve student learning outcomes.
• Lead professional development workshops and training sessions for instructional staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement the curriculum.
• Research and review educational trends and best practices to continuously improve the curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Serve as a liaison between the school and external stakeholders, such as curriculum vendors and educational organizations, to gather resources and support for curriculum development.
• Collaborate with the school administration to ensure that the curriculum meets state and district standards and requirements.
• Develop and maintain a budget for curriculum materials and resources, and make cost-effective decisions to provide high-quality education within budget constraints.
• Assist in the recruitment and hiring of instructional staff, and provide guidance and support to new and existing teachers on curriculum implementation and instructional strategies.
• Act as a mentor and coach to instructional staff, providing feedback and support to improve their teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about the curriculum and student progress, and address any concerns or questions they may have.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership.
• Strong knowledge of educational standards and best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and using data to inform curriculum decisions.
• Ability to lead and facilitate professional development workshops.
• Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
• Experience in teaching and/or school administration is a plus.
