Position: Fine Art Consultant

You will work closely with clients, ranging from individual collectors to corporations, to help them build their art collections and make informed buying decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough research on various art forms, artists, and their work to stay updated on the latest trends and market values
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients by understanding their preferences and needs, and providing personalized recommendations
• Organizing and curating exhibitions and art fairs to showcase and promote the works of established and emerging artists
• Conducting art appraisals and providing accurate valuations of artwork for clients
• Collaborating with art galleries, auction houses, and other art institutions to source and acquire artwork for clients
• Negotiating prices and handling sales transactions for artwork
• Assisting clients with logistics, such as shipping, insurance, and installation of artwork
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Proven experience in art sales and consulting, with a strong network in the art world
• In-depth knowledge of various art movements, mediums, and historical significance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse clientele
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Proven negotiation and sales abilities, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets
• Proficient in using art databases, online platforms, and other technology tools related to the art market
• Must have a professional and polished appearance, with a passion for art and a strong appreciation for aesthetics
