Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Copy Editor to join our team. As a Copy Editor, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. You will work closely with writers, content creators, and other editors to produce high-quality and error-free content. The ideal candidate will have excellent grammar and writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of different writing styles and formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and edit written content for accuracy, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging throughout all content
• Fact-check information and verify sources to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with writers and content creators to improve the overall quality of content
• Suggest changes to improve readability and flow of content
• Follow company style guide and adhere to brand guidelines
• Meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
• Conduct thorough proofreading of all content before publication
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in writing and editing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Copy Editor or similar role
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and AP style
• Familiarity with SEO and keyword optimization
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other editing software
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Passion for accuracy and a strong eye for detail
