Position: Music Instructor

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Music Instructor to join our team. As a Music Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your love and knowledge of music with students of all ages and levels. You will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging music lessons, helping students develop their musical skills, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and goals of each student.
• Teach students how to read sheet music, play various instruments, and understand music theory.
• Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and methods to engage and motivate students.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
• Prepare students for performances and provide guidance on stage presence and confidence.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
• Communicate regularly with students and parents about student progress and upcoming events.
• Stay updated on current music trends, techniques, and methods to continuously improve teaching skills.
• Participate in department meetings and events to contribute to the growth and development of the music program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in a private or group setting.
• Proficient in playing at least one musical instrument and knowledgeable in music theory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, enthusiastic, and able to motivate and inspire students.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of various music genres and styles.
• Familiarity with music software and technology is a plus.
