Job Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing educational programs and materials that align with our organization's goals and objectives. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to create engaging and effective learning experiences for our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development and a passion for creating innovative and impactful educational content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop curriculum and instructional materials for various educational programs, including online courses, workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives, content, and assessment strategies.
• Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to identify gaps in existing curriculum and develop solutions to address them.
• Use instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods, such as lectures, group discussions, case studies, and simulations, to enhance learning outcomes.
• Select and incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, animations, and interactive activities, into curriculum materials.
• Ensure that all curriculum materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct pilot testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of curriculum materials.
• Collaborate with other team members to review and revise existing curriculum and incorporate new materials and technologies.
• Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in curriculum development, instructional design, and educational technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
• Experience in developing a variety of educational programs, including online and instructor-led courses.
• Proficient in using instructional design software, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to develop innovative and engaging learning experiences.
