Position Title: Professor of Education

Job Type: Contract to hire

Location: Innovatetown, California, United States

Salary: USD: $50,000 - $90,000 annually

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Professor of Education to join our prestigious institution. As a Professor of Education, you will play a critical role in shaping the minds of future educators and leaders in the field of education. You will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students, conduct research, and contribute to the development and improvement of our education programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate level courses related to education
• Mentor and advise students in their academic and career pursuits
• Conduct research in the field of education and publish findings in reputable journals
• Supervise student research projects and dissertations
• Participate in departmental and university committees and activities
• Contribute to the development and improvement of education programs
• Stay current with developments and advancements in the field of education
• Engage in community outreach and partnerships with schools and organizations
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and research skills

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Education or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level
• Demonstrated track record of research and publications in the field of education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
• Experience in curriculum development and program assessment
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students
• Experience in grant writing and securing external funding (preferred)
