Position: Wireless Network Engineer

Job Description: As a Wireless Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining wireless network solutions for our organization. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our wireless network meets the needs of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement wireless network solutions for our organization, including access points, controllers, and other network infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys to determine optimal placement and configuration of wireless network equipment.
• Configure and troubleshoot wireless network devices, including access points, controllers, and switches.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues in a timely manner.
• Implement security protocols and measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our wireless network.
• Collaborate with other members of the IT team to integrate wireless network solutions with our existing network infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging wireless network technologies and make recommendations for improvements to our network.
• Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining wireless networks.
• Strong understanding of wireless network protocols, including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.
• Experience with wireless network equipment, such as Cisco, Aruba, or Meraki.
• Knowledge of network security protocols, such as WPA2, WPA3, and 802.1X.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds or PRTG.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
