Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Manager to oversee all operations at our farm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, with a proven track record of managing successful farm operations. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent management skills, and a passion for agriculture. As the Farm Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the farm, from planning and production to inventory management and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement farm plans and strategies to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the farm.
• Manage and oversee all farm operations, including crop cultivation, livestock care, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure the timely planting, irrigation, and harvesting of crops, and the proper care of livestock.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, including seeds, fertilizers, and equipment, to ensure adequate supply for ongoing operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best quality and prices for farm inputs.
• Hire, train and supervise farm staff, ensuring a safe and productive working environment.
• Monitor and maintain farm records and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of all farm operations.
• Conduct regular farm inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the farm's continued success and growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Farm Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing farm operations.
• Strong knowledge of crop cultivation and livestock care.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and record-keeping.
• Passion for agriculture and sustainable farming practices.

Working Conditions: The Farm Manager will be required to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the needs of the farm. This role also involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and may require physical labor and heavy lifting.
