Job Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing educational programs and materials that align with our organization's goals and objectives. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to develop engaging and effective curriculum for various levels and subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and content for new curriculum development projects.
• Research and analyze industry trends, best practices, and learner needs to inform curriculum design.
• Utilize instructional design principles to design and develop engaging learning experiences, including lesson plans, assessments, and activities.
• Develop and maintain project plans and timelines for curriculum development projects.
• Create and manage project budgets for curriculum development projects.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and multimedia specialists to incorporate interactive and multimedia elements into curriculum materials.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure curriculum materials meet established standards and objectives.
• Facilitate pilot testing and gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to make necessary revisions to curriculum materials.
• Stay up-to-date on advancements in instructional design and educational technology to continuously enhance curriculum materials.
• Provide training and support to instructors on curriculum content and delivery methods.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum materials and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
• Experience with a variety of instructional design and development tools and software.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience working in the education or training industry is preferred.
