Job Title: Food Production Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Food Production Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Food Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our entire food production process, from sourcing ingredients to packaging the final product. You will work closely with our suppliers, production staff, and quality control team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet company goals and objectives
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the food production process, including procurement, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution
• Monitor and maintain food safety and quality standards throughout the production process
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for the best prices and terms
• Hire, train, and supervise production staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to meet production targets
• Create and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize production efficiency
• Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Oversee inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize waste
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product quality
• Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control, research and development, and marketing, to ensure the successful launch of new products
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food production, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards, as well as relevant regulations and laws
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of meeting production targets and reducing costs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
