Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough research and analysis to assess the needs and requirements of transportation projects
Develop and implement transportation plans and designs that are efficient, safe, and cost-effective
Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project success
Utilize various software programs to create detailed plans, drawings, and models
Review and approve project plans and designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and clients
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate project progress and address any issues that may arise
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes
Mentor and train junior engineers and provide guidance and support as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering
Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred
Extensive knowledge of transportation engineering principles, practices, and techniques
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software programs
Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
Proven track record of delivering successful transportation projects on time and within budget
