Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and student-centered individual to join our team as a Student Services Advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students throughout their academic journey. You will serve as a primary point of contact for students, assisting them with a wide range of academic and personal needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for helping students succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for students, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
• Assist students with course selection, academic planning, and registration processes.
• Provide information and resources to students on academic policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Monitor students' academic progress and identify any potential issues or challenges.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide holistic support for students.
• Connect students with appropriate campus resources for academic, personal, and career-related support.
• Plan and coordinate events and workshops to promote student success and engagement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.
• Assist with the development and implementation of student support programs and initiatives.
• Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in student services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in higher education, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in student services or academic advising.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Empathetic and student-centered mindset.
• Knowledge of academic policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Prior experience working with diverse student populations is preferred.
