Position: Curriculum Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of our students and aligns with educational standards. You will also be responsible for training and supporting teachers in effectively delivering the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review curriculum materials for all subjects and grade levels, ensuring they are engaging, relevant, and aligned with educational standards.
• Collaborate with teachers and instructional leaders to identify and address curriculum gaps and make necessary revisions.
• Research and stay updated on the latest educational trends and best practices to continuously improve the curriculum.
• Conduct regular assessments to measure the effectiveness of the curriculum and make necessary adjustments.
• Train and support teachers in effectively delivering the curriculum, providing guidance and resources as needed.
• Develop and deliver professional development workshops and sessions for teachers on curriculum implementation and best practices.
• Collaborate with other curriculum specialists to ensure consistency and coherence across all subjects and grade levels.
• Stay informed about changes in educational standards and make necessary updates to the curriculum to maintain alignment.
• Communicate with parents and other stakeholders about the curriculum and its goals, as well as gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the curriculum in classrooms, providing support and guidance to improve teacher effectiveness.
• Collaborate with school leaders to develop and implement long-term curriculum plans and goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of educational standards and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to train and support teachers in curriculum implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and educational technology tools.
