About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Leasing Specialist to join our team. As a Leasing Specialist, you will be responsible for leasing and marketing our properties to potential tenants. You will serve as the first point of contact for all leasing inquiries and guide potential tenants through the leasing process. This is a fast-paced and exciting role that requires strong sales and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to all leasing inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct property tours and showcase the features and amenities of our properties
• Collaborate with marketing team to develop and implement effective leasing strategies
• Screen potential tenants and conduct background and credit checks
• Prepare and negotiate lease agreements with potential tenants
• Follow up with potential tenants and maintain a database of leads
• Ensure all leasing paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Build and maintain relationships with current and potential tenants
• Plan and execute resident events and activities to promote community engagement
• Conduct market research and provide recommendations to improve leasing strategies
• Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to remain competitive
• Provide excellent customer service to current and potential tenants
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Leasing Manager

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and leasing procedures
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work weekends and after hours as needed
